To score more runs than the other team.

  • Locomotor

    • Throw

  • Manipulative Receive​

    • Catch​

-Liste d'équipement:

  • One big hitter bat

  • Four big hitter bases

  • One tee

  • One big hitter ball

-Mise en place:

  • Place the four bases as in baseball but not as far apart.

  • Divide the players into two teams.

  • One team is up and one one team is distributed in the playing area.

  • One player from the offensive team has a bat.

-Instructions:

  • The player with the bat hits the ball.

  • Regular baseball rules apply except that more than one player can be on any base at any given time.

  • Variation:

    • Play caterpillar style and have two or more runners run with the hitter as a unit.​

  • Questions for understanding:

    • What batting ideas will help a player get on base safely?

    • What defensive strategies help the defense get the batters out (distribution in playing area, keying in on runners...)?
