-Setting Up:

  • Use a badminton or pickleball court for about four players per side, or a volleyball or tennis court for about six players per side.

  • Use a net about tennis net height.

  • If you do not have a net use the short/long service or attack line as the net. Players must hit the ball before their line and land the ball past their opponent’s line.

-Instructions:

  • Players serve by hitting the ball in an upwards direction from inside their court and land it in their opponent’s court. If it lands outside their opponents court the other team gets a point and the service.

  • The receiving team must let the ball bounce in their court before striking the ball. Each team is permitted a maximum of three hits per side before the ball must be hit to their opponent’s side.

  • Between hits the ball must always hit the floor before being struck again (always hit in an upwards direction). Failure to do so means the other team earns a point and gains the service.

  • The last ball must be struck behind the offensive team’s line and land past their opponent’s line.

  • Play to a set number of points, for example 15.
