-Setting Up:

  • Choose a spot in the middle of the floor to be the sun.

  • Approximately two paces from the sun, place four cones identifying Mercury’s orbit.

  • Approximately two more paces from Mercury’s orbit, place four cones identifying Venus’ orbit, and do the same for the orbits of Earth and Mars.

  • Place a starting line about six paces from the first cone of Mars. All players line up at the starting line with their balls in front of them.

-Instructions:

  • On your signal to begin, all the players leave at the same time (and fun meteoric chaos results) and shove, kick, or dribble (you need to specify the type of ball movement) their balls toward Mars’ orbit, where they must do a complete rotation. They then do a complete rotation of Earth’s orbit, then Venus’, and then Mercury’s, at which point they bring the ball to the sun.

  • The first player to get his ball to the sun is the winner.
