To get from the start line to the finish line as quickly as possible.

-Mise en place:

  • Establish a start line and a finish line approximately 30 paces apart.

  • Partners of similar size and weight stand back-to-back at the start line and lock arms together.

-Instructions:

  • At the signal to start one partner leans forward, turns and stands up straight–this movement puts the partner closer to the finish line.

  • The partner then leans forward and picks her partner up, turns and stands up straight–this movement puts the other partner closer to the finish line.

  • Continue till the partners have rocked all the way to the finish line.

-Questions et notes:

  • Safety consideration:

    • Partners should not lead forward so far that there is a danger of the 2 players falling head over heals.
