Explain to the students that in one frame of bowling a five-pin bowler gets three throws to knock all the pins down. In ten-pin bowling the bowler gets two throws per frame. If all the balls are knocked down before the second or third throw the bowler does not bowl another ball in that frame.
-
One game of bowling involves 10 frames. Most bowling alleys have automatic scoring so I will not explain scoring here.
-
The object is to knock down as many pins as possible and score the most points.
-
Typically, participants bowl with their dominant hand, efficiently delivering the ball. With JJ Crazy Bowling the great bowler is equalized with the novice bowler because of the way the ball must be thrown each frame. The changes will lower everyone’s scores but add a lot of laughter to the event.
