Serve N Sprint and Catch

-Objectif:

Titre 1

Throw/serve ball to other side and have a player catch it, who throws/serves... In groups of 3-4.

-Aptitudes motrices fondamentales:

  • Manipulative Send

  • Catch

  • Throw

  • One Volleyball

  • One Volleyball net

-Mise en place:

  • Groups of 3-4 players line up on the end line of a volleyball court.

  • One player stands in the court and holds a ball.

-Instructions:

  • The player with the ball throws the ball to the other side of the court.

  • The player at the end of the line runs into the court to catch the ball and then throw it to the other court....

  • Players that are waiting in line perform jumping jacks till they run onto the court to catch a ball.

  • How can throwers make it easier or more difficult for the other team?

  • What cues can receivers use to get to the receiving spot the quickest?
