To hit the ball against a wall with three challenges (off bounce, in air, with partner)--pickleball or tennis.

-Aptitudes motrices fondamentales:

  • Strike

  • One racquet (pickleball or tennis) per player.

-Mise en place:

  • Each player hold a ball and a racquet and stands 4-8 paces from a wall--depending on challenge.

-Instructions:

  • Players strike the ball meeting various challenges:

  • Hit ball after one bounce on ground.

  • Hit ball in the air.

  • Hit ball off the wall to a partner with one bounce off ground.

-Questions et notes:

  • Questions for Understanding:

  • Is it easier to hit a ball off a bounce off the ground or in the air? Why?

  • What increases success when hitting a ball off the ground or in the air?
