With eight spots set up six attached squares with spots--each square about 2-3 paces across (three squares are sice-by-side)
Players stand in the six squares.
The players are numbered in order with King to 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1.
The King holds the volleyball.
-Instructions:
The King bumps the ball into play.
From there, if the ball lands on the floor in someone's square play stops, that player goes to the number 1 square and other players move up one square filling the vacated spot.
It the ball goes out of bounds and lands in no-one's square, the person who last passed it goes to the number one square and other players move up one square filling the vacated spot.
Balls must be passed at least one-metre above the players' heads.

Variations
Making the squares smaller makes it more difficult, and conversely making the squares larger makes it simpler.
