All Around the Course

To determine how quickly a team can move their giant ball around a course.

One or two giant balls.

Eight sturdy cones.

One foam ball for every two players.

Place pairs of cones two to three paces apart (wide enough that a ball can go between the two cones) at the four corners of the playing area.

Half of the players hold a foam ball.

Place the giant ball at one corner of the playing area.
-Instructions:

On the leader's signal to begin, players throw balls (no closer than two steps away from the giant ball), and attempt to move the giant ball once around the course between the cones.

Time the event and have players attempt to beat their time.

Variation:

Use two giant balls and make it a race between two teams (have teams begin at opposite corners).

As an added variation place two cones in the middle of the playing area and require the teams to go in a figure 8 pattern through the course.
