Long Catch in Cloth

-Objectif:

Titre 1

To catch a ball in a cloth and get as far away from partner as possible.

-Aptitudes motrices fondamentales:

  • Manipulative Send

  • Throw

  • Manipulative Receive

  • Catch

-Liste d'équipement:

  • One hand towel per player.

  • One ball per player--perhaps a tennis ball.

-Mise en place:

  • Two players face each other three paces apart

  • Each player holds a hand towel

  • One of the players holds a tennis ball in their towel

-Instructions:

  • Players toss (in Covid times have players flip the ball by pulling either end of the hand towel) a ball to their partner.

  • If the pass is successfully caught have each player take a step back.

  • If the pass is not successfully caught have each player take a step forward.

  • Continue for a set time and see which pair of players has moved the furthest apart.
