For pairs of players to each catch a ball in a pylon and get as far away from partner as possible.

Manipulative Receive

One pylon per player.
One ball per player--perhaps a tennis ball.

Two players face each other three paces apart
Each player holds a pylon and a ball
-Instructions:
Players toss their ball to their partner.
If the passes are successfully caught have each player take a step back.
If the passes are not successfully caught have each player take a step forward.
Continue for a set time and see which pair of players has moved the furthest apart.
