To not get tagged by the penquins.

  • For groups of ten players have about eight squish steppers and two bean bags.

-Mise en place:

  • Give the Squish Stepper to the players and have them put their feet in them.

    • Players are in a scattered formation in the playing area.

  • Give the bean bags to the players and have them place the bean bag between their knees.

-Instructions:

  • On the signal to begin the penguins attempt to tag players on the Squish Steppers. 

  • When a successful tag is made players switch roles.

-Questions et notes:

  • Variation

    • Play the game in pairs with one player being the penguin and the other on the squish stepper. Penguins give the squish steppers a five-count to get away.​

  • Questions for understanding:

    • What makes it easier for penguins to catch players?​

    • What makes it less likely for players to get caught by the penguins?
