One team lines up behind the end line of a basketball court--if this line is too close to the wall to have players come to a stop safely, then move the line further from the wall.
Place the beanbags (gold) behind the line at the other end.
The other team divides their players with half on one side of the basketball court and half on the other side--about half of these players have foam balls.
-Instructions:
On the signal to begin, the leader begins the time to determine how quickly the one team can retrieve all the gold pieces.
Players run from one end of the basketball court to the other to pick up a piece of gold and run back with it. Players are safe at either ends.
If a player gets hit by a ball they must return to the start--if they are holding a piece of gold they must return it before going back to the start.
When all the gold has been recovered stop the time and switch team roles.
