Players move on boards to determine balance and use of fulcrums

  • Locomotor

  • Balance

-Liste d'équipement:

  • A very permanent and fixed board on edge in the ground.

  • A strong length (3 metres...) of 2 x 12 board.

-Mise en place:

  • Students place the 2 x 12 at different spots on top of the in-ground board.

-Instructions:

  • Students stand on the cross board and try to find a position of balance.

-Questions et notes:

  • Variations:

  • Have more than one player on the horizontal board.

  • Move the board so that the fulcrum changes.

  • Question for Understanding:

  • How does the fulcrum change the way to balance the board?
