For a player to tag the giant ball.

-Aptitudes motrices fondamentales:

  • Locomotor​

    • Dodge

    • Run

  • One giant ball per game.

-Mise en place:

  • Half of the players form an inner circle facing out, and the other half of the players form an outer circle facing in.

  • A giant ball is placed between the inner and outer circle players--they can roll the ball between the circle of players.

  • One player is assigned as the It and stands between the circles opposite side of where the ball is.

-Instructions:

  • The It tries to chase down the ball.

  • The players in the two circles attempt to move the ball between them to keep it away from the It.

    • What tactical moves can the It make to achieve success?​

    • What tactical moves should the circle players use to prevent the It from tagging the ball?
